Summary

My SEA-Teacher experience in Vietnam, which I share on this website blog, centers on my time spent as a student teacher at Future School and Dong Thap University. Both the practical facets of teaching and the cultural understanding I acquired are covered in my reflections. To engage my students and adjust to the dynamics of the Vietnamese classroom, I employed interactive, student-centered teaching methods. My blog showcases my adaptations to Vietnamese teaching methods as well as the close bonds I formed with both students and inbounds. My journey, captured in photographs, demonstrates my assimilation into Vietnamese culture and how it influenced my development as a teacher. This highlights my aim to inspire my students and bridge cultural divides as I consider the difficulties and benefits of modifying teaching methods to a new cultural setting. My commitment to lifelong learning, respect for other cultures, and the benefits of cooperative educational exchange for both professional and personal development are all highlighted by this experience.
